Reset G5 transmitter using Xdrip
- From the xDrip home screen press the Treatment button [Syringe icon]
- Long press the Microphone icon
- Type the command ‘enable engineering mode’
- Repeat steps 1 and 2 and now type ‘hard reset transmitter’
- Wait for upto 1 hour
Replacing G5 battery
Replacing G5 batteries is not straight forwarda lot more complicated than it needs to be as they are molded into the plastic housing.
The G5 requires 2 x 389’s or (390’s) batteries
G6 & G7
Build your own app!
Due to Dexcom compatibility restrictions the Dexcom G6 app will not run on Android phones. As a workaround there is this Reddit thread with instructions to build your own custom app
